Given these reassuring factors, the President will discontinue his strict isolation measures.”
On Capitol Hill today, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is holding a hearing on U.S. National Security And Economic Statecraft: Ensuring U.S. Global Leadership For The Twenty-First Century. Testimonies will be heard from Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and Environment Jose Fernandez, U.S. Trade and Development Agency Director Enoh T. Ebong, and Acting Under Secretary for International Affairs Andy Baukol of the Treasury Department.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee will also hold hearings today for nominees for ambassadorships to Morocco, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazahkstan, and Tunisia.
