President Biden is traveling to Massachusetts today. He will discuss his administration’s goals regarding climate and energy in Somerset.
White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre stated, “The president will deliver remarks on tackling the climate crisis and seizing the opportunity of a clean energy future to create jobs and lower costs for families.”
The president is scheduled to visit a previously coal-fired power plant. He will receive an update on plans to convert the site to a wind energy staging ground. He will outline how his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will invest in clean-energy, public transportation, electric vehicle charging, and wildfire prevention.
