Free to Decide
In much of life, you must deal with boundaries. And boundaries are, for the most part, intended to keep you safe. Guardrails on a curvy mountain road are boundaries. Physical limitations are boundaries that do not allow you to exceed what you are capable of. Curfews set for teenagers are boundaries. Within established boundaries, you have freedom. However, there is generally a choice to be made—stay within the boundaries of your liberties or move outside them. When boundaries are ignored, chaos may result. Today’s verse provides guidelines for your liberty: serving one another in love. Let God’s Word assist you in identifying His boundaries for your Christian walk. You can be confident in God’s leading as you travel life’s curving roads. He has set the guardrails in place.
