$503 million directed toward public land infrastructure maintenance.
Deputy Secretary Jewel Bronaugh announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture is investing $503 million into infrastructure improvements for public lands. The deputy secretary made the announcement at the Mountains to Sound Green National Heritage Area in the state of Washington, one of the many areas in the U.S. that will have trailheads, roads, parking lots, and facilities freshly updated for the millions of people that enjoy public lands every year.
“The Great American Outdoors Act and President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law are betting on America — our special places, our communities and our people,” said Deputy Secretary Bronaugh. “Even beyond improved access, facilities and infrastructure, these investments create economic opportunity and good jobs where projects like this have the most impact.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Deputy Secretary Bronaugh as she fulfills her role in the USDA.
- For officials in the Interior Department as they steward public lands.
- With thanksgiving to God for the beauty of creation that exists across America.
