Over $110 billion in funds have been released for projects.
President Biden’s administration celebrated the six-month anniversary of the signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law last week, speaking about all the bill has accomplished so far and what can be expected for the future. The infrastructure package has already released $110 billion of the $1 trillion the legislation devoted to fixing and updating infrastructure projects around the country, with many long-term projects already in the works.
“We’re hitting the ground running on the projects that are shovel-ready,” White House Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator Mitch Landrieu told reporters. “Some of them – like major tunnels, major thruways, a lot of the rail projects are going to take a little bit more time … This is going to be Infrastructure Decade.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and his administration as they implement infrastructure funding.
- That federal legislators would be discerning as bills are considered and debated.
- That God’s purposes would be accomplished in the United States.
