God Gives Life
The National Right to Life Committee’s latest figures on the number of abortions that have taken place since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 is 63,459,781 and growing. The recently leaked draft decision shows that the Supreme Court is inclined to return abortion decisions to the states, overturning that landmark case. However, from the highest office in the nation and leaders in Congress have come vows to codify Roe, making it a federal law. What about the highest law? God’s law? Time and again in His Holy Word, the Lord favors life, calling those who shed innocent blood an abomination to Him. (Proverbs 6:16-17). As you pray for God’s mercy upon America, ask that citizens and those in authority repent and turn from their wicked ways, so that the nation might be healed. Pray that a “Nathan” type of prophet would enter those halls of leadership and awaken hearts toward righteousness.
