President Joe Biden is continuing his stay at his residence in Wilmington, Delaware, today, and is expected to return to the White House this evening. Along with regular national security briefings and meetings with staff members concerning the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the president will spend the day preparing for the week ahead.
During the week, he will travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to meet with veterans and caregivers. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that, during this visit, the president will share how “he supports legislation that would expand access to healthcare and benefits for veterans.”
Later in the week, the president will welcome Colombian President Iván Duque Márquez to the White House. “The leaders plan to reaffirm the bilateral relationship and discuss COVID-19 response, future pandemic preparedness, economic recovery, and regional responses to migration,” the press secretary added.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For God to be at work in and through the president and administration officials as they lead the American response to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.
- For the president to seek God’s wisdom as he prepares for the week ahead.
- For safety and protection for the president as he travels this week.
