Medicare issues request for information from stakeholders.
The Department of Health and Human Services announced a Request for Information this week to receive feedback from those enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid Services. They seek information regarding the experience of enrolling for healthcare, maintaining coverage, and the availability and quality of providers. The 60-day public comment period began Thursday, and a questionnaire is accessible through the government’s Medicaid website.
“We want to hear directly from stakeholders so we can strengthen our programs for the more than 80 million Americans with Medicaid or CHIP health insurance,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. “Together, by advancing health equity, we can ensure quality health care is within reach for everyone who needs it.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Becerra to seek God’s wisdom as he manages the various federal health agencies within his department.
- For discernment for Medicaid and Medicare officials as they collect and assimilate input and feedback.
- For the president and his healthcare advisors to be led by the Lord as they implement programs and policies.
