Government alone cannot resolve Information and Communications Technology findings.
Secretaries Gina Raimondo of the Commerce Department and Alejandro Mayorkas of the Department of Homeland Security released a joint statement to report the findings of a year-long assessment of key issues within the information and communications technology (ICT) industry supply chain. Both departments found immediate actions they are able to take to address certain findings, but emphasized that “the U.S. government alone cannot address these ICT supply chain vulnerabilities.”
“We look forward to working with industry stakeholders, foreign governments, and other domestic and international partners to implement measures identified in the assessment that build resilience and security throughout the ICT supply chain and across our nation,” the secretaries stated.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Raimondo as she works to support ICT supply chains.
- For Secretary Mayorkas as he oversees efforts to protect national security through strengthening supply chains.
- For the president and his administration as they address multiple industries’ supply chain disruptions.
