Will work closely with first director of enforcement team.
The Department of Justice announced that the FBI is forming a team to work in tandem with the department’s newly founded National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team (NCET). While the FBI continues putting this team together, the Justice Department announced that prosecutor Eun Young Choi was nominated as the first director of the NCET.
“The department has been at the forefront of investigating and prosecuting crimes involving digital currencies since their inception,” stated Ms. Choi. “The NCET will play a pivotal role in ensuring that as the technology surrounding digital assets grows and evolves, the department in turn accelerates and expands its efforts to combat their illicit abuse by criminals of all kinds.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the FBI officials working with the Justice Department to enforce the law on cryptocurrency.
- For the teams from both agencies to have wisdom and discernment in fulfilling their duties.
- For federal law enforcement agents endeavoring to bring domestic and international criminals to justice.
