Vouchers given to 103 public houses.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development recently awarded $18 million in vouchers to aid veterans across the country experiencing homelessness. The vouchers are offered by 103 public housing agencies across the country participating in the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing.
“The HUD-VA Supportive Housing program (VASH) has been a flagship of HUD and VA’s effort to end veteran homelessness,” said HUD Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman. “With today’s announcement, I am pleased that we are able to bring this proven solution to more veterans experiencing homelessness, particularly during the holiday season.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Maria Fudge to seek God’s wisdom as she guides her department in helping homeless veterans.
- For Deputy Secretaries Todman and Remy as they support this voucher process.
- For the homeless and housing clinics as they prepare for freezing temperatures throughout the United States.
