Interior Department currently seeking and accepting formal nominations.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced the re-establishment of a Federal Advisory Committee that consists of hunting organizations, wildlife management agencies, and Tribal resource management organizations. They expect this Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Council to provide on-the-ground insights to help inform federal policies to improve conservation and increase outdoor recreation.
“Hunters and anglers are among the nation’s most ardent conservation and wildlife champions,” said Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland. “As climate change continues to threaten our natural world, we must work together to safeguard the biodiversity of our planet and the health of the natural systems that supply our food, water, and other resources.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Haaland to seek God’s wisdom as she receives input from this new committee.
- That those nominated to this committee would be effective in working together to address climate and wildlife conservation issues.
- For the director of the Fish and Wildlife Services to be used by God to accomplish His purposes in stewarding U.S. wildlife.
