Vice President Harris makes announcement at Maryland charging station.
Last week, President Biden’s administration announced their new effort to build 500,000 charging stations for electric vehicles across the country. They hope that this effort will help bring down the cost of electric cars and help to move the U.S. auto industry away from gas-powered engines as a whole.
Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at an EV charging facility in suburban Maryland to announce the new federal strategy. “The future of transportation in our nation and around the world is electric,″ the vice president said. “We want to make electric vehicles accessible for everyone, just like filling your car up with gas… We need to make the shift faster and make sure it is driven by the United States.″
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for the president and his administration as they increase and expand the infrastructure for electric vehicles.
- For Vice President Harris as she addresses issues facing the nation.
- That President Biden would seek God’s direction as he makes domestic and foreign policies.
