The resolution is intended to repeal the federal mandate on vaccination and testing in the private sector.
The Senate passed a resolution to repeal the federal vaccination-or-testing mandate for private-sector employers.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, speaking on the floor of the Senate ahead of the vote, said Washington must stop micro-managing Americans. He stressed the Constitution does not give the government the right to force employees to get the COVID-19 vaccination.
Courts across the country have already blocked the vaccine mandate for federal employees and federal contractors.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the members of the Senate to seek God’s wisdom as they vote on legislation related to the healthcare of the nation.
- For God to guide the president and administration officials as they create policies to meet the needs of the nation during the pandemic.
