Promises free at-home tests for those without private insurance.
Last week, President Biden announced that he will direct the Department of Health and Human Services to ensure that insurance providers cover the cost of at-home COVID-19 tests. A total of about 150 million Americans would be eligible for the cost of the test to be reimbursed by their providers. Those without private insurance will have free tests provided for them at locations across the country.
The president also released a plan to continue to address COVID-19, as concerns over the Omicron variant have resulted in renewed travel restrictions from certain global regions. The president is also promoting booster shots for all adults, working to vaccinate children.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president to have wisdom as he and his administration address COVID-19.
- For officials of the Department of Health and Human Services discernment on making safe and effective testing available.
- For the coronavirus to continue to weaken and wane.
