Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Rosemount, Minnesota. The president will speak about his recently signed infrastructure legislation at Dakota County Technical College in the suburb of the Twin Cities.
The White House anticipates the infrastructure package to provide $4.5 billion to Minnesota for highways, $800 million for public transportation, and around $300 million for bridge repair during the next ten years.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that the president will “highlight how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will deliver concrete results for communities, create good-paying union jobs, and position America to compete and win the 21st century.”
She continued that the president’s visit to the technical college “illustrates how similar institutions across the country will train the next generation of workers and rebuild America’s infrastructure.”
