President Joe Biden is traveling to Howell, Michigan today. He will visit the training facility at International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324. He will be promoting his administration’s Build Back Better agenda and the infrastructure bill that are before Congress.
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Acts passed 69-30 in the Senate in August. The legislation is still in negotiations in the House of Representatives. The president’s proposed budget is also still in discussions.
President Biden said the bill “invests in working families, paid for by repealing tax giveaways to the rich.”
