Following the September 11th commemoration ceremonies, in which President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden traveled to the National September 11th Memorial in New York City, the Shanksville Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon, the president and first lady returned to their residence in Wilmington, Delaware. They are expected to remain at their home for the remainder of the day and have no public events on their schedule at this time.
This week, the president will travel to the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho, to meet with experts on ways to address and combat the wildfires across the western United States. As part of the trip, he will travel to Sacramento and Long Beach, California, and Denver, Colorado, to survey the wildfire damage and meet with local officials. He is also expected to discuss with state leaders the administration’s goal for national infrastructure improvements.

- For the president and first lady as they prepare for the week ahead.
