But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9
How loved do you feel by God today? If you answer this question honestly you will discover the foundational health of your spiritual life. Many followers of Christ gladly accept the gift of salvation yet struggle to feel loved by their Creator God.
The enemy seeks to warp your understanding of God. Doubting Him was the original temptation for humanity. The deceiver plants seeds of shame over your failures and of mistrust toward God’s kind intentions towards you. But when you choose to believe in God’s plan to bless you both now and in the future, you discover something amazing. The place where you feel the deepest shame and guilt is also where God places His most lavish love and mercy. His gifts of grace have nothing to do with your performance. They are grounded in His unbreakable word and desire to rescue humans from the adversary’s grip.
God’s love is bigger than your mistakes. His plan is for you to display His glory and His grace on Earth. As you are praying for the United States today, ask that people will accept the Father’s unconditional and healing love, which will bring a healthy spiritual dynamic and strong hope for God’s blessing upon the nation.
Today’s Verse: 1 Corinthians 2:9
But, as it is written,
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,

6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
