For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against all the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 6:12
Invisible War
Quiet attacks come with little warning: America experienced this on December 7, 1941, and again on September 11, 2001. Both shocked the nation. Considering current events, quiet attacks are occurring on many fronts. Christian businesses are being closed down for being “offensive,” and churches are being vandalized (and in Canada, several have been set ablaze). History that honors God-fearing people is being discarded. These “flesh and blood” struggles have their genesis in darkened hearts. It is apparent that “rulers and cosmic powers” are at work in America today. This is spiritual warfare and it is serious. If you are a Christian, God has provided spiritual armor for your strong defense in the battle. Better yet, the Almighty is your ultimate Defender and the battle is His. He will be victorious. In the meantime, as the doomed enemy pulls out all the stops, hold fast to your faith. And, as a “soldier of the Cross,” stand your ground.
