Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. – Jeremiah 29:12
At its annual meeting, the World Economic Forum initiated “The Great Reset Initiative” as a means for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the COVID-19 virus. On their website, they say, “As we enter a unique window of opportunity to shape the recovery this initiative will offer insights to help inform all those determining the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models, and the management of a global commons.” They claim their new set of dimensions will “build a new social contract that honors the dignity of every human being.”
The globalists forget that “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1). Even though the evil virus of sin had overtaken the world, God provided His own Great Reset at Calvary, offering salvation to all of humankind through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Today’s verse is a good reminder that God is near, He answers those who call upon Him. His love never fails.
Pray for those at the highest levels of America’s government to see the futility of their own plans when they exclude God from the equation. Pray that they will have a ”great reset” of the heart and learn to call upon the Lord in prayer for His answers.
Today’s Verse: Jeremiah 29:12
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

13 I gave you a land on which you had not labored and cities that you had not built, and you dwell in them. You eat the fruit of vineyards and olive orchards that you did not plant.’
14 “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
