Both thank fathers for strengthening the nation.
Over the weekend, President Biden and Vice President Harris both wished the nation’s fathers a happy Father’s Day. President Biden is father to Ashley and Hunter Biden, as well as the late Beau and Naomi Biden.
The president posted to social media, “Happy Father’s Day to the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and father figures who enrich our character, love us unconditionally, and give so much of themselves every day so we can live lives worthy of their dreams and sacrifices.”
Vice President Harris also posted her well wishes, saying, “America’s fathers make families stronger. They make our nation stronger. Today, we celebrate the fathers in our families, our communities, and our country.”
