Meets with Prime Ministers Netanyahu
Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina traveled to Jerusalem on Monday to discuss the recent violence between Israel and Hamas with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Prime Minister Netanyahu praised the American Senator upon his arrival saying, “No one has done more for Israel than you, Senator Lindsey Graham, stalwart champion of our alliance and we have no better friend.”
Senator Graham also met with Israel’s Defence Minister Benny Gantz. He mentioned that Israel plays a key strategic role for the United States saying, “Nobody does more to protect America from radical Islam than our friends in Israel.” Senator Graham is expected to advocate that the president’s administration should continue its support of Israel and supply the nation with weapons to maintain its national security.
