Today, the president will be traveling to Cleveland, Ohio. President Joe Biden will tour Cuyahoga Community College in Highland Hills, Ohio, and speak about the current status of the American economy. This will be the second trip the president has made to the state of Ohio this year.
On Wednesday, the White House released further information on the president’s American Jobs Plan. President Biden proposes to make “a bold investment in America’s housing infrastructure and make housing more affordable for working and middle-class families.”
To support the economy, the White House stated that plan is expected to “create and sustain hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs – the majority of which won’t require a college degree – with a free and fair choice to join a union and bargain collectively.”
