Today, President Joe Biden will welcome South Korean President Moon Jae-in to the White House. This will be the second in-person meeting with a foreign head of state for President Biden and could be the last trip to the United States for President Moon in the final year of his term.
The two leaders will discuss policies regarding China and the Indo-Pacific region. The technological advances that South Korea has made, particularly as a supplier of semiconductors, and that nation’s need for coronavirus vaccines are other important topics for these allies.
Another matter they will focus on is the relationship between South Korea and North Korea. The human rights abuses by North Korea have long been a concern of the U.S. and South Korea.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Biden and President Moon as they discuss important matters facing the two nations.
- For discernment for President Biden as he promotes policy and agenda concepts.
- For God’s purpose to be accomplished as the two leaders meet.
