He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature. – Hebrews 1:3
Reflect His Radiance
Are you radiant? Do you glow? Cosmetic companies push radiance. So do some plastic surgeons. You need to “beam,” so that others will be attracted to you, they say. Books and articles abound on how to be more radiant, with suggestions like “eat a block of dark chocolate!” Others suggest a summertime tan helps one achieve that radiant glow. The Bible tells us that Jesus radiated the glory of God. Psalm 34:5 says, “Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” Looking to Jesus can give you that Son glow any time of year. What does that look like in your imagination? How much of His radiance do you reflect? Be that Psalm 34 person whose face shows you have been with Jesus today!
