Remind Americans to remain vigilant as vaccines are distributed.
On Monday, President Biden and Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention held a virtual press conference to address the growing concern of a possible “fourth surge” of COVID-19 cases. Currently, new cases are up 10 percent over last week or about 60,000 cases per day.
President Biden urged Americans to stay vigilant on COVID-19 precautions saying, “If we let our guard down now, we can see the virus getting worse, not better. People are letting up on precautions, which is a very bad thing.” He also announced that by April 19 he expected that 90% of adults would be eligible for a vaccine.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the CDC director to have wisdom as she leads her department.
- That the president and his advisors would be discerning in the decisions they make for the country.
- That God would bring an end to the pandemic.
