Minor injury reported after Major was surprised by a stranger.
On Tuesday, members of the press were informed that President Biden’s dogs Major and Champ would be departing from the White House after a “minor injury” was inflicted on a Secret Service agent. In a recent interview, First Lady Jill Biden stated that getting the dogs accustomed to their new life in the White House was important to her, but that she had already encountered some challenges to the newness of it all.
When asked about the incident, White House Press Secretary Psaki said that Major was “surprised by an unfamiliar person and reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual.” She noted that both dogs would be traveling to Delaware in a previously planned excursion while the first lady is away from Washington for a tour of the nation’s military bases.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would keep the Secret Service safe as they guard the president.
- That the first lady would have safe travels this week.
- That President Joe Biden would seek the Lord’s wisdom in his decisions and actions today.
