Expresses gratitude for their hard work during pandemic.
On Thursday, President Biden visited the National Institutes of Health and addressed the staff. He toured the Vaccine Research Center and offered thanks for the work researchers and scientists have done.
“To all — to all of you, your work made possible the remarkably rapid development of COVID-19 vaccines we have today. It’s incredible. Initially, people were talking years, if not decades, before we’d have a vaccine,” the president said. “On behalf of a grateful nation — and I don’t say that lightly — on behalf of a grateful nation, I want to thank you and your families for your work and your sacrifice, for there is no doubt your families sacrificed a great deal for the endless hours you put in to save the rest of us. And I know it wasn’t easy.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would work His will through the efforts of the NIH.
- For God’s healing for those infected with the coronavirus.
- For God to guide the president’s administration in authorizing COVID treatments and vaccine administration.
