On Friday, National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien released a statement announcing the final version of President Trump’s plan to create a 5G telecommunications infrastructure. The plan outlines both national implementation and international partnership, delineating how collaboration and security will be balanced in the era of 5G.
“5G wireless technology will be transformational with the potential to touch nearly every aspect of our lives and spur incredible economic growth,” the national security advisor said. “The National Strategy to Secure 5G Implementation Plan will help to provide the American people with secure, reliable, and trustworthy 5G infrastructure.”
