New COVID-19 rules would go into effect January 26.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is poised to enact a policy that will require incoming travelers from overseas to show proof of a negative coronavirus test before entering the U.S.
The mandate on international arrivals would be part of the federal government’s efforts to fend off the ongoing surge in infections of the coronavirus mutations originating in the United Kingdom and South Africa.
The policy, which would go into effect on January 26, has strong support from the airline industry.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the CDC as they attempt to prevent the spread of the mutated virus throughout the nation.
- For the physicians and scientists at the CDC as they evaluate methods to stop the surge in infections.
