President Donald Trump has no public events scheduled at this time. He is expected to remain in Washington, D.C., where he will hold meetings and place calls to see to the business of his office.
The president issued a proclamation on Sunday honoring the service and sacrifice of all U.S. Capitol police and law enforcement officers across the country. He ordered, “that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, January 13, 2021.”
