Military personnel repatriated who died and were buried in the Philippines during the Second World War.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency recently repatriated the unidentified remains of U.S. troops who died in World War II. These fallen members of the U.S. military had been buried anonymously in the Philippines.
The disinterment occurred at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial and an honorable carry ceremony was held at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam upon their return to Hawaii. Forensic anthropologists and other officials will be examining the remains in the hopes of possible identification.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency as they seek to account for all missing U.S. troops.
- For wisdom and clarity for those who work to identify the fallen WWII warriors.
