President Donald Trump is staying at the White House, in Washington, D.C. today. He has a variety of meetings and will take part in multiple official phone calls with federal leaders and members of the administration. The president is expected to monitor the results of the ongoing ballot counts for the two Senate seat runoff elections in the state of Georgia. The results were still too close to call as of Wednesday morning.
The president will take part in events and will speak to those gathering on the White House Ellipse in the late morning. The main event coincides with Congress’s vote to certify the Electoral College results. Various senators and representatives will be joining the president and have also called for an audit and review of November’s election results in response to concerns of voting irregularities.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for the president as he meets with administration officials and takes part in meetings today.
- For God’s will to be accomplished through the results of the runoff elections in Georgia.
- For integrity and discernment for all who are working to review and certify the election results.
