As FDA begins vaccine authorizations.
The chief adviser for President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, Moncef Slaoui, predicted that the lives of Americans may “start getting back to normal” by April or May if vaccine distribution and effectiveness go as planned.
Pharmaceutical companies Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca have all participated to one degree or another in the president’s initiative Operation Warp Speed for coronavirus vaccine research, development, and distribution. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has begun to approve the first vaccines.
“I think we may start to see some impact on the most susceptible people possibly in the month of January and February, but on a production basis, for our lives to start getting back to normal, we’re talking about April or May,” Slaoui said.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the scientists at the Food and Drug Administration working on approvals for the various coronavirus vaccines.
- For those officials in charge of the distribution and storage of the vaccines.
- That the vaccines would prove to have long-term effectiveness.
