Significant reductions attached to length of stay.
The State Department has announced rules that have been issued by President Trump’s administration restricting travel to the United States for Chinese Communist Party members and their families.
The new policy reduces the maximum validity length of B1/B2 visitor visas for party members and their immediate family members from 10 years to 1 month.
In a statement, the Department said the measure was aimed at protecting the nation from the party’s “malign influence,” adding the CCP works to “influence Americans through propaganda, economic coercion, and other nefarious activities.”
The new rules allow American officials to determine someone’s party status based on their application and interview.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For U.S. officials seeking to protect America with the new rules restricting members of the Chinese Communist Party from any extended stay in the U.S.
- That the restrictions would aid in reducing the malevolent activities of the CCP toward Americans.
- For President Trump, Secretary Pompeo, and others to have wisdom as tensions with the Chinese continue to expand.
