Plans to aid in Georgia Senate runoff elections.
President Trump announced on Tuesday that he would be traveling to Georgia to aid in the effort to motivate voters to cast their ballots for his party’s candidates in the upcoming Senatorial run-off elections. None of the candidates passed the threshold in the November election for a clear victory, so both Senate seats are up for grabs. The winners will likely determine which political party has control of the upper chamber of Congress.
The upcoming runoff elections will take place on January 5. In Georgia, Vice President Biden had under 13,000 votes more than were counted for President Trump, out of the total 5 million votes cast. The current Senate majority needs only one seat to maintain their Senatorial control, which is expected to act as a check to a Biden administration.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That the Lord’s will would be done in Georgia.
- For the most qualified candidates to be elected to the Senate.
- For the 2021 Congress to be used by God to improve the country.
