Knowledge of the Holy One is insight. – Proverbs 9:10
In 1953, there were only 100 computers in use around the world. The machines weighed many tons and filled huge rooms. Today, there are more than two billion computers worldwide, including servers, desktops, and laptops. Some are so small they can fit a shirt pocket. Yet scientists, engineers and technicians are continually trying to build a faster, smarter way to access knowledge. For example, the Summit is now probably the world’s speediest and smartest supercomputer. It fills a server room the size of two tennis courts and can spit out answers at 200 quadrillion (or 200 with 15 zeros) calculations per second. That means if every person on Earth completed one calculation per second, it would take the world population 305 days to do what Summit can do in one second.
At the same time, many of these scientists reject the One who has the greatest insight of all. God is omniscient, which means He has an unlimited knowledge. He knows absolutely everything that can ever be known. Nothing ever surprises Him.
Psalm 147:5 says, “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure.” He is the only source of all knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Knowledge of the Lord provides the foundation of all intellectual pursuit.
Everything you know and understand originated with Him. So, worship your Heavenly Father every day for His knowledge of your past, present, and future. Thank Him for His forgiveness and praise Him for the peace He provides in the present and the hope you can have because He knows what is ahead for you. As you do, intercede for America’s leaders to do the same.
Today’s Verse: Proverbs 9:10

and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
