Over $336 billion generated in past year.
The Department of the Interior announced this week that the efforts of President Trump’s administration had generated over $336 Billion and 1.9 million jobs across the nation. Compared to fiscal year 2016 the Interior Department generated 200,000 more jobs and contributed $82 billion for communities.
“The Trump Administration agenda for public lands management has been a major boon for communities throughout the country,” said Secretary Bernhardt. “Especially this year, public lands have been a critical place of refuge for the American people and will continue to support the economic vitality of our country.”
