Over 22 million votes already cast.
As states around the nation have opened up their polling stations for voters to cast their ballots for the 2020 election, a record number of Americans have already cast their votes. Over 22 million have submitted their votes as of Friday night. That number represents 16% of the total number of votes cast in the 2016 election.
At this rate, it is expected that turn out could top out at over 150 million votes cast – the highest number since the 1908 election. According to current exit polling, the ratio of Democrat to Republican votes cast are 2-to-1 with the expectation that a surge of Republican voters will cast their votes on election day.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would lead the nation to a result that accomplishes His will.
- For the American people to elect the best leader for the nation.
- That God would guide the campaigns as they make their appeals to the American people.
