President Trump will speak at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center & Amphitheater in Florida this afternoon regarding Protecting America’s Seniors. Then the president will appear at a campaign event in Ocala, Florida, and in the evening he will speak at another rally in Macon, Georgia.
On Thursday, Second Lady Karen Pence visited Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to highlight at a roundtable discussion the president’s executive order to Safeguard American’s Mental Health and to Prevent Suicide. Throughout the pandemic, medical experts have increasingly raised concerns about the negative effects the coronavirus preventive measures have on mental health.
On October 5th of this year, President Trump signed the executive order on Saving Lives Through Increased Support For Mental- and Behavioral-Health Needs to further the three-year effort known as the President’s Roadmap to Empower Veterans and End a National Tragedy of Suicide (PREVENTS) that the president kicked off in March of 2019.
