President Donald Trump is welcoming Arizona Governor Doug Ducey to the White House today. Along with various members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, the two are expected to discuss the federal and state responses to the virus in Arizona. “President Trump is looking forward to discussing ways to continue to support the people of the Grand Canyon State,” the White House official statement said.
While the number of new positive cases in Arizona is on a downward turn from its peak at the beginning of July, state officials are moving cautiously to prevent another surge in cases. As part of this effort, President Trump and Governor Ducey will discuss the next steps for Arizona as the state prepares for the upcoming school year, considers further reopening of the economy, and evaluates mask and social distancing policies.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

- For God to guide the president as he makes decisions to best serve the nation during this time.
