Asserts that federal response has given states everything they need to combat COVID-19.
The White House announced that President Trump would be restarting his daily coronavirus briefings in light of the surge of cases across the nation. The first briefing on Tuesday would not include the Task Force with the president. Press Secretary McEnany said the reasoning was due to the president being the best person to communicate to the American people.
During the briefing, President Trump praised the efforts of his administration and stated that currently the needs of individual states have been met by the federal government. He said, “no governor needs anything right now.” He continued to call for greater reopenings to prevent further economic pain along with calls for Americans to wear masks and observe social distancing.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would restore the nation to health.
- For Press Secretary McEnany to adequately communicate the details of the president’s response to the pandemic.
- That President Trump’s Administration would be used by God to bring healing to our nation.
