Regulations in how concessions contracts are created are being lowered to improve the visitor experience.
At the end of last week, the National Park Service announced that it would be updating regulations that determine how contracts are created to work on visitor services. The new revisions would lower administrative hurdles that are designed to increase competition and flexibility to bring new investment in concessions.
Secretary Bernhardt explained the plan saying, “This proposed regulation is one more step in the Trump Administration’s effort to create an environment that optimizes our service to the American people at our great national parks by improving the visitor experience. We look forward to receiving public comments on this important initiative.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would lead the National Park Service to bring the beauty of God’s creation to more people.
- That God would guide the new regulations to bring about a better National Park Service.
- For God to lead Secretary Bernhardt in how best to lead the Interior Department
