Report alleged Russian agencies offered bounties on U.S. troops
On Sunday, President Trump shared his reason for not acting on intelligence that Russian agencies had offered cash bounties to Taliban forces for each American they killed. President Trump stated via Twitter that he had received updated intelligence that “Intel … did not find this info credible, and therefore did not report it to me or [Vice President Pence]. Possibly another fabricated Russia Hoax.”
The Kremlin has also denied the report that Russian agencies were placing bounties on American soldiers, simply stating that such actions would be undiplomatic and counterproductive. National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe has also denied that President Trump had ever been briefed on this information. Senator Lindsey Graham called for Congress to “get to the bottom” of the reports.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For God’s protection for Americans from foreign harm.
- That President Trump would be given accurate information necessary to protect the nation.
- For Congress’ investigation to determine the truth.
