Efficient and innovative processing a must for U.S. technologies.
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Energy announced that it would be distributing up to $30 million toward scientific research in next-generation critical resource processing technologies. The Trump administration hopes to stimulate the economy by making rare earth elements, necessary for technologies essential to American exports such as wind turbines and electric car motors, more readily available for manufacturers.
“Through these investments, DOE is advancing research, development, and deployment across the entire critical materials supply chain to help strengthen America’s defense-industrial base,” said Mark W. Menezes, the Under Secretary of Energy. Applications to receive this funding are live and currently available under the Department of Energy’s grant application board.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the Department of Energy as they wisely consider how best to support scientists of the United States.
- For President Trump as he guides the administration to explore how best to support the United States economy.
- That God would bless the innovation of scientists as they work toward this goal.
