ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
Rockets were fired early Thursday at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The Islamic State said it was behind the five rockets, according to NATO-LED Operation Resolute Support, who said it would be “investigating the incident.”
The attack came as the fractured Afghan government attempts to negotiate peace with the Taliban and after a peace deal was signed February 29. The Taliban said it had no hand in the attack.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For American and NATO military personnel remaining in Afghanistan to be protected from attacks.
- For the absolute and final defeat of ISIS.
