Health Care reform at top of list.
Over the weekend, leaders within the House of Representatives and the Senate indicated that the next round of relief efforts was in the works. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that “there will be a next measure.” He also indicated that healthcare would be an item at the top of the list of areas to focus on.
House Speaker Pelosi also announced that she would be bringing new legislation to the House that would gain the same bi-partisan support that the recent stimulus package received. She indicated that larger Democratic goals would not be included in order to bring about relief as quick as possible saying, “While I’m very much in favor of doing some things we need to do to meet the needs — clean water, more broadband, the rest of that — that may have to be for a bill beyond that right now.”

- For Speaker Pelosi to be used by God to lead the House in the best way forward.
- That God would give Majority Leader McConnell wisdom on how to lead the Senate.
