Funds expected to be deposited within three weeks.
The IRS released updated information on Monday, detailing how the recently enacted stimulus relief bill would be rolling out to Americans. Those who are eligible for up to $1,200 per person could expect funds to be deposited to the bank accounts on file from their federal income taxes from 2019 and 2018 within the next three weeks.
Additionally, those who had not filed in the last couple of years would be able to fill out forms on the IRS website. These forms include information such as filing status, number of dependants, and bank information. Anyone with a social security number would be able to receive benefits. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin also assured low-income individuals and those on a fixed income that they would not need to pay taxes to receive the credit.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the IRS to quickly and efficiently get money in the hands of Americans.
- For Congress to have wisdom on the best ways to address the COVID-19 pandemic.
- That God would lead Secretary Mnuchin in the best ways to direct the IRS and Treasury Department.
