President Trump sends Guard to New York, California, and Washington.
On Sunday, President Trump announced that he had directed the National Guard to be deployed to New York, California, and Washington in order to help aid the states struggling the most due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Funding for the effort will come from FEMA in order to give “maximum flexibility” for the Guard’s fight against the virus.
The president also promised that mobile medical centers would be deployed to these states in order to more effectively test and treat the spreading disease. Shipments of masks and gloves have also been planned to the states. President Trump has also sent Navy medical ships to affected regions in order to provide as many medical services as possible.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the President to effectively help the nation heal.
- For the National Guard to manage the medical needs of the states they are in.
- That the White House and Congress would discover and craft solutions to end this pandemic.
